Traditional German clothing, hand crafted nutcrackers, Bavarian steins, old fashioned metal wind up toys, Austrian crystal, tapesstries, Christmas ornaments, candies and ever popular German cuckoo clocks.

      Open April to Sept 7 to 7, Oct. to March 7 to 5, closed Christmas & New Year's Day. Admission Charged, Senior group & AAA Rates. 125 miniatures of places from all over the world. Located on grounds of Alabama's only Benedictine abbey. Miniatures built by Brother Joseph Zoettl. O.S.B. (1878-1961)

      Open Mon to Fri. 8 to 4:30, Sat & Sun. 1 to 4:30, Free admission. Path was removal route for 2500 Creek Indians. Traveled by frontiersman Davy Crockett during Creek Indian War. Ran from Ft. Mitchell in Russell Co. to Ft. Hampton in Limestone County.

      Open 9am to Sunset. Free admission. One of the largest covered bridges in Alabama. Battle of Hog Mountain site. Truss bridge built with lattice style planks 1904, restored 1975. Park with shaded picnic grounds, dogtrot log cabin, grist mill & hiking trails.

    • Cullman County Agricultural Trade Cnter - 17645 U.S. Hwy 31 - 256-739-4959
      Multi Purpose complex with 36,000 sq. ft. show and sales arena with natural floor. Bleacher seating for 3600. Hosts numerous events, including rodeos, dog shows, cattle and horse shows, bluegrass and gospel concerts, motorcross events.

      Open Mon to Weds. & Fri. 9 to noon & 1 to 4, Thur. 9 to noon & Sun 1:30 to 4:30. Admission charged, group rates. In 1873, Col. John G. Cullman, German refugee, established colony here. Replica of home houses museum and pieces of Cullman Archaeological Society. Cullman's rocking chair, replica of city street from late 1800s.

      Open Sat. & Sun. 8 to 5, Free admission. Nicest and cleanest flea market in the south. Old and new merchandise. More than 250 inside spaces plus outdoor spaces. Antiques building ( more than 10,000 sq ft ) country village. Free parking.

      Open Mon to Sat. 8 to 5. Old fashioned meat prepared on this farm, using secert Southern recipes. Also cheese, honey, jams, grits, salad dressings and more.

      Open by Appointment, Free admission. Cullman's oldest home, small wood frame structure, was home to Aldo Weiss and his family. Also served as his medical ffice, while cellar housed his goats. Furnshed with 19th century items.
